We are currently seeking a Model Making/Prototype Machinist. This position requires a broad knowledge of machining practices and a desire to work in a dynamic product/process development environment. Applicants should have extensive experience operating manual vertical mills, manual lathes, surface grinders etc., They should also be capable of making tools, making tooling and working with a wide variety of materials (stainless steels, plastics, titanium etc). CNC experience on both mills and lathes is also required. Anyone interested should be comfortable working in a development environment i.e. working with minimal direction, working with sketches, preliminary/incomplete drawings, multiple iterations of prototypes and working closely with engineering and sales.
