Dana H. Worthley, 78, passed away on September 8, 2026 surrounded by family.
Beswick company founder, Paul Beswick, hired Dana in 1984. Dana was tasked with increasing production capacity to meet a surge in sales growth. Previously, Dana had worked for Richmond Graphics and FRAM Filter Products. At Beswick, Dana dedicated 40 years of loyal service. He was a talented and inventive engineer, working in production, product development, and most recently as quality assurance manager. Dana had a lifetime love of motorsports including Formula 1 and NASCAR.
While Dana took great pride in his professional accomplishments, his Beswick colleagues will remember his humility, quiet kindness, his genuine interest in others, and his story telling abilities. Many would consult Dana’s knowledge base to learn why certain company and/or engineering decisions were made. Dana was a humble man with a sly sense of humor, and his generosity and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Dana will be greatly missed by his family, friends, neighbors, and Beswick colleagues.
